(Web Desk): A case has been registered against a woman under the Anti-Rape Act in Muzaffargarh, marking the first such case.
According to the police, the woman had filed a false rape case, and a case has been registered at the City Police Station. The woman had alleged that two individuals had abducted her and raped her.
The police stated that, upon court orders, a case was registered against the named suspects at the Civil Lines Police Station, and the woman recorded her statement against the suspects before a medical officer and a local magistrate.
The police further explained that the woman later deviated from her statement in court, stating that she had named the suspects in the case based on suspicion. As a result, the police have registered a case against the woman under the Anti-Rape Act for filing a false report.
