Aircraft remained in Pakistan's airspace for about 41 minutes, but there were no messages of goodwill from Modi to Pakistani government or its people

(Web Desk): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s plane passed through Pakistan’s airspace on its way to France, aviation sources confirmed on Monday.
Modi, flying in a special aircraft, traveled from New Delhi to Paris. The plane entered Pakistan’s airspace near Lahore and continued at an altitude of 34,000 feet, flying over areas like Sheikhupura, Hafizabad, Chakwal, and Kohat.
The aircraft remained in Pakistan’s airspace for around 41 minutes, but there were no messages of goodwill from Modi to the Pakistani government or its people.
Aviation officials explained that since Afghan airspace is currently closed, Modi’s flight was given special permission to use this route.
In 2019, Pakistan had fully closed its airspace after Indian fighter jets violated its territory. Later that year, the airspace was partially reopened, but still restricted for Indian flights.
Despite this, Pakistan refused Modi’s request to use its airspace in 2019 for a flight to Germany due to rising tensions over Kashmir. However, two years later, Pakistan allowed Modi’s non-stop flight to pass through its airspace on his way to the United States.
