Teacher had confessed killing the girl


Daejeon: A school teacher in South Korea stabbed an eight-year-old girl to death.
According to foreign media, the police said that this tragic incident took place at a school in the city of Daejeon, where a 40-year-old female teacher stabbed the girl to death.
Police said that the teacher had confessed to killing the girl, who is being treated in the hospital for self-inflicted wounds.
In this regard, the Daejeon Education Office said that on December 9 the teacher had requested a six-month leave due to depression. The teacher started teaching at the school 20 days later after being declared fit for work by the doctor.
According to media reports, South Korea's acting President Choi Sang-mok ordered an investigation into the matter.
