Seized drugs worth around $3.3 million in global market


Quetta: A major operation by the Pakistan Coast Guard in Othal, Balochistan resulted in the recovery of a large quantity of high-quality hashish.
Based on intelligence authorities, 200 kilograms of high-quality hashish hidden in a building was recovered during an operation in the Gadani area of Othal, in which it is expected that the drug was being smuggled domestically.
The value of the seized drugs in the global market is around $3.3 million, which is worth more than Rs900 million in Pakistani currency.
The Director General of the Pakistan Coast Guard, while appreciating the efforts of the officers and men, has expressed his determination to continue similar efforts in the future as well.
According to the spokesperson, the Pakistan Coast Guard will continue to play its role in stabilizing the country's economy by preventing drugs and all kinds of smuggling.
