WhatsApp introduces new feature to help organize group chats
New feature has been added to latest beta version of WhatsApp for Android users

(Web Desk): WhatsApp is continuously working on adding new and interesting features to prevent users from switching to other services. One such new feature is soon going to be a part of the Meta-owned messaging app, which will help users organize group chats.
According to a report from WABetaInfo, a site that tracks WhatsApp updates, this new feature has been added to the latest beta version of WhatsApp for Android users.
With this feature, you will be able to use labels in WhatsApp groups. The report’s shared screenshot suggests that you can use labels for both yourself and all group members. However, when you use labels for a group member, it will only apply to that specific group. For other shared groups, you will have to set up labels for that person separately.
Once you use a label for someone in a group, it will remain in place until you change it, even if you reinstall WhatsApp.
These labels will help you identify the role of a member in a WhatsApp group chat.
As mentioned above, this feature has only been introduced in the beta version for now, so it is hard to say when it will be available to all users.
