Condition of several injured in the explosion is critical


Harnai: An explosion killed 11 workers and injured several miners in the Shahrag area of the Harnai district of Balochistan.
According to the police, an explosion occurred near the vehicle of workers working in a coal mine in the Shahrag area of Harnai, in which several people were injured.
Police say that the condition of several injured in the explosion is critical. Law enforcement officials have also reached the spot, taken custody of the explosion site, and started collecting evidence.
Deputy Commissioner Harnai said that nine workers were killed and eight were injured in the explosion in the Shahrag area. The injured were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital, where two more workers later succumbed to their injuries.
Most of the workers killed and injured in the Shahrag explosion belong to the Puran village of Shangla.
The Balochistan government spokesperson expressed grief over the deaths of workers in the Shahrag blast and said that the injured in the blast are undergoing treatment at Shahrag Hospital.
Provincial government spokesperson Shahid Rind said that an investigation has been ordered into the blast in Shahrag. According to initial investigations, explosives were planted on the roadside.
