(Web Desk): A 14-year-old boy has been killed and five people injured in a knife attack in Villach, Austria, near the borders with Italy and Slovenia.
The police arrested the attacker, a 23-year-old Syrian man who had sought asylum in Austria. The motive for the attack is still unclear, and authorities have called in experts to investigate possible extremist links.
The attack happened around 4:00 PM local time near the town’s main square. Two of the injured people are in serious condition.
