Lahore: After a long dry season, rain and snowfall have started in different parts of Balochistan, and the Meteorological Department has predicted rains across the country.
According to the details, intermittent rain has been falling in different parts of Balochistan including Quetta and snowfall has been continuing in Ziarat since this morning.

Light rain has also turned cold in Sibi and its surroundings, Mastung, Sanjawi, Sui, and its surroundings, Dera Allah Yar and its surroundings.
Meanwhile, rain in the mountainous areas of Sanjawi caused flooding in rivers and canals. Rain in Qila Abdullah city and light snowfall in the mountainous areas have slightly increased the intensity of the cold.
According to the Meteorological Department, the rain is likely to continue in the province for the next 12 hours.
According to the Meteorological Department, a rain-bearing system will enter the upper reaches of the country from today, which is likely to cause intermittent rain and heavy snowfall in the mountains in Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir.
The Meteorological Department says that due to heavy snowfall, there is a possibility of road closures in Murree, Galiyat, Naran, and Kaghan. Landslides and avalanches are also expected in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and other mountainous areas.
