Price of silver rises by Rs28, reaching Rs3,468 per tola

(Web Desk): Gold prices in Pakistan continued to rise on Thursday, following the increase in global gold rates. The price of gold per tola in the local market went up by Rs1,000, reaching an all-time high of Rs309,000.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs857, settling at Rs264,917, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Just the day before, the price of gold per tola had jumped by Rs3,800 to reach Rs308,000, setting a new record. On the international market, gold prices also saw an increase, rising by $9 to $2,953 per ounce (with an added premium of $20), according to the APGJSA.
In addition, the price of silver rose by Rs28, reaching Rs3,468 per tola.
Globally, gold prices stayed strong near record highs as concerns about rising inflation and potential trade wars, fueled by US President Donald Trump’s tariff plans, kept investors cautious.
