Afaq Ahmed granted bail in two truck burning cases, arrested in new dumper arson case
Police arrest Afaq Ahmed in another case related to burning of dumper, which had been registered at Surjani Town police station


Karachi: The Anti-Terrorism Court has granted bail to Afaq Ahmed, Chairman of the Muhajir Qaumi Movement, in two cases related to burning trucks.
The hearing of the cases regarding the torching of trucks in Landhi and Korangi conducted in Karachi's Anti-Terrorism Court.
During the hearing, the police informed the court that two cases had been filed against Afaq Ahmed in Landhi and Awami Colony police stations, in which he was arrested.
After the hearing, the court approved Afaq Ahmed's bail in both cases and ordered him to submit surety bonds of Rs1,00,000 for each case.
Later, Afaq Ahmed's lawyer stated that after granting bail in the two cases, the police arrested Afaq Ahmed in another case related to the burning of a dumper, which had been registered at the Surjani Town police station.
It is important to note that after a rise in accidents involving trucks and dumpers in recent days, dumpers and trucks were set on fire in the city, and Afaq Ahmed was arrested after giving statements about this issue.
