Court adjourned hearing till April 15 for final arguments


Islamabad: The court has extended the bail of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder in six cases and his wife Bushra Bibi in one case.
Judge Afzal Majuka heard the bail applications of PTI founder and Bushra Bibi at the Judicial Complex Islamabad. Advocate Khalid Yousuf Chaudhry appeared in court on behalf of the PTI founder.
During the hearing, Advocate Khalid Yousuf told the court that the video appearance of the PTI founder had not been made yet, to which the court inquired from the court staff whether the jail authorities had not yet responded regarding the video appearance.
The court staff replied that the letter had not yet been received from the jail authorities. Khalid Yousuf requested the court to bind the prosecution and fix a time and any day in Ramadan and we will give arguments.
Judge Afzal Majuka said that he would be in training during Ramadan and would keep it after Eid. Khalid Yusuf Chaudhry requested to not set the hearing in the first week of Eid, he had to go for vacation after several months.
Later, the court adjourned the hearing till April 15 for the final arguments in the cases of PTI founder and Bushra Bibi.
