Gold prices drop after continuous rise in global and local markets

Karachi: After a continuous rise in gold prices in both international and local markets, a decrease was observed today.

In the international market, the price of gold per ounce dropped by 8 dollars, bringing the new global price to $2,940.

In local markets on Tuesday, the price of 24-carat gold per tola decreased by Rs800, bringing it down to Rs308,700.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs686, reaching Rs264,660, down from Rs265,346 the previous day.

It is worth noting that yesterday, a new record was set for gold prices in both the international and local markets.
