Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has taken notice of complaints of gas load shedding during Sehar and Iftar during the month of Ramadan in different parts of the country.
The Prime Minister expressed his anger over the gas load shedding during Sehar and Iftar times and sought a report from the Petroleum Division.
Shehbaz Sharif said that gas should be provided uninterruptedly during Sehar and Iftar times.
On the other hand, the spokesperson of Sui Northern Gas has said that by taking immediate action on the instructions of the Prime Minister, gas supply during Sehar and Iftar times will be ensured in all cases. Citizens should contact 1199 in case of any complaint.
It is pertinent to note that yesterday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif ordered strict action against elements involved in sugar hoarding.
He said that the government's strict actions in recent months have helped in eliminating sugar smuggling. No kind of hoarding or artificial inflation will be tolerated during Ramadan. More stringent measures should be taken to control sugar prices.
