Turin: Pakistan’s contingent for the Special Olympics World Winter Games has arrived in Italy.
The Special Olympics World Winter Games are being held in Turin, Italy from March 8 to March 16.
A 25-member Special Olympics Pakistan contingent will participate in the Special Olympics World Winter Games starting in Turin, Italy from March 8.
The national contingent for the games, which will continue till March 16, includes athletes, coaches, officials, medical staff, and Young Global Leaders.
Pakistani athletes will participate in snowshoeing and cross-country skiing competitions.
More than 1,500 male and female athletes from more than 93 countries will participate in the games, while around 2,000 volunteers will support them.
