Initial reports suggest shooting is related to long-standing dispute over private bus stand

Narowal: Three people, including a police officer, were killed and another seriously wounded when gunmen opened fire during Tarawih prayers in Narowal, police said on Monday.
The shooting happened inside a private home where people had gathered for prayers. The victims were identified as transporter Imran Butt, Shahid Butt, and Special Branch police officer Zafar Iqbal. A fourth person, Shehbaz, was critically injured.
Initial reports suggest the shooting was related to a long-standing dispute over a private bus stand. The attackers escaped before the police arrived.
District Police Officer Malik Naveed and a large police team reached the scene and took the bodies to the hospital for post-mortem exams while the injured person was treated.
Punjab's Inspector General, Dr. Usman Anwar, has ordered a report from the regional police chief and called for the immediate arrest of those responsible. Authorities have promised to use all resources to find the attackers and bring them to justice.
