Patients are reaching hospital with complaints of sore throat, cold, and cough


Karachi: As the weather changes in Karachi, respiratory diseases have increased.
According to the emergency in-charge of the Civil Hospital, more than 150 people are coming to the hospital with respiratory diseases every day. Similarly, the number of respiratory patients in Jinnah Hospital has also exceeded 150 per day.
On the other hand, medical experts say that children are being affected the most by respiratory diseases. Patients are reaching the hospital with complaints of sore throat, cold, and cough.
According to medical experts, the condition of asthma patients starts to worsen in such weather.
Medical experts instructed citizens to avoid cold and substandard drinks during Ramadan and to use masks when leaving their homes.
