Tehran strongly condemns terrorist acts against passengers, targeting civilians is horrific


New York: The United Nations and Iran have condemned the terrorist attack on the Jaffar Express in Balochistan.
A spokesperson for the United Nations Secretary-General Stephane Dujarric has said that attacks against civilians are unacceptable, that they are monitoring the situation related to the accident, regretting the news of innocent passengers being taken hostage, and that the release of the passengers should be made possible as soon as possible.
On the other hand, Iran has also condemned the attack on a passenger train in Pakistan and said that Tehran strongly condemns terrorist acts against passengers, targeting civilians is horrific, and the Iranian government stands with innocent civilians.
A spokesperson for the Iranian embassy said that innocent civilians, including children, women, and the elderly, were taken hostage in Balochistan, and that violent actions against civilians and disrupting important communication systems are cowardly crimes against humanity.
