Chief Executive of security company has been summoned in person on March 17


Lahore: The Punjab Home Department has taken notice of the incident of shooting and violence against a citizen by a security guard at the Beijing Underpass.
According to the spokesperson of the Punjab Home Department, departmental action has been initiated against the private security company and a show-cause notice has been issued by temporarily sealing the office.
The spokesperson of the Home Department said that the security company is obliged to give a written response to the show cause notice within 30 days and the license of the security company will be canceled if the response is unsatisfactory.
Furthermore, the Chief Executive of the security company has been summoned in person on March 17.
Background of the incident
Two days ago, an incident of public hooliganism took place in Lahore at the Beijing Underpass on Canal Road, where the security guards of a private company assigned to the security of foreign guests stopped the vehicle of a citizen named Imran and opened fire on him when he did not give way.
Citizen Imran also showed courage and got out of his car and overpowered a security guard, after which the other security guards beat him and quickly got into their cars and fled. However, the victim stopped the attackers by parking his car in front of their vehicle.
After the incident, the police arrested four security guards and seized their weapons and vehicle.
