Price of 24-carat gold per tola sees significant decrease of Rs2,000, now standing at Rs318,800

Karachi: Gold prices have decreased today due to a decline in both global and local markets. On Friday, the price of gold per ounce in the international market fell by $19, bringing the new global price to $3,031.
The drop in global prices has also affected the local gold market. The price of 24-carat gold per tola in Karachi saw a significant decrease of Rs2,000, now standing at Rs318,800. Similarly, the price of gold per 10 grams has dropped by Rs1,712, bringing it to Rs273,319.
This decrease in gold prices comes as a result of shifting market conditions, which are impacting both investors and consumers in Karachi. The fluctuation in global gold prices has a direct effect on local market trends, often influencing buying patterns and demand for the precious metal.
As gold prices continue to adjust globally, local markets in Karachi and other cities will likely experience further price changes, affecting both retail prices and demand.
