Govt schools will remain closed from March 28 to April 6

Lahore: Holidays have been announced for educational institutions in Punjab for Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to the Punjab Education Minister, educational institutions will be closed from March 28 for the Eid holidays.
On the other hand, Secretary Schools of Punjab Khalid Wattoo said that government schools will remain closed from March 28 to April 6, while annual results will be announced in government schools on April 4.
Khalid Wattoo further said that the new academic year will start from April 7 and students will go to new classes.
It is pertinent to note that the Meteorological Department has indicated the possibility of Eid-ul-Fitr falling on Monday, March 31 in Pakistan.
