Shooting in Karachi's Defence phase 1 leaves one dead

Karachi: A man was killed in a shooting incident in Defence Phase 1.

According to SSP South Meheroz Ali, the incident took place in the Defence area when the victim was sitting in his car under his house. Motorcycle-riding assailants opened fire, killing the man on the spot.

The police reported that the deceased was shot in the head, and three bullet casings were found at the scene. Investigations are underway to determine whether it was a robbery attempt or some other motive.

SSP South confirmed that the deceased has been identified as Amir.
