Hot and dry weather likely to continue for next three days

Karachi: The temperature in Karachi is expected to reach 40°C on Sunday, with hot and dry weather likely to continue for the next three days, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
The PMD also warned of strong winds in the city today and tomorrow. This heatwave is part of a larger weather pattern affecting much of Sindh, where temperatures will remain high, and some areas may experience even hotter conditions.
The warning comes after a week of rising temperatures in Karachi. On Thursday, the PMD predicted temperatures between 37°C and 39°C for Friday and Saturday, which turned out to be accurate as the heat increased.
Last Tuesday, the temperature in the city reached 38.1°C, with humidity at 53% and light winds from the north. Residents are advised to stay prepared for the extreme heat in the coming days.
