Armed assailants opened fire at a workshop

(Web Desk): Eight Pakistani car mechanics were shot dead in Iran’s Sistan-Baluchestan province on Saturday.
According to Iranian media, eight Pakistani car mechanics were killed in a shooting incident near the Afghan border in Iran’s Sistan-Baluchestan province. Armed assailants opened fire at a workshop, resulting in the deaths of all eight workers.
Diplomatic sources confirmed that the victims were working in the Mehristan area of Sistan and that Iranian authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
Iranian media reported that all eight victims were originally from Punjab, Pakistan. Sources added that, following legal formalities, arrangements would be made to repatriate the bodies to Pakistan.
