DPO Sandhu emphasizes that timely delivery of justice to public depends on efficient and prompt investigation of cases

Jhelum: Under the chairmanship of District Police Officer (DPO) Jhelum Tariq Aziz Sandhu, a key meeting was held at the Kasiyal Police Post to assess the status of long-pending investigation cases and incomplete challans.
The session was attended by SDPO Sohawa Circle, In-charge Police Post Kasiyal, and investigation officers from the area.
During the meeting, DPO Jhelum stressed the importance of close coordination with the prosecution to ensure timely resolution of cases and their swift submission to the courts. He issued clear instructions to submit challans within the mandatory 14-day timeframe.
He emphasized that the timely delivery of justice to the public depends on the efficient and prompt investigation of cases.
The DPO directed officers to focus on the completion of case records and ensure that 173 Cr.P.C. reports are submitted without delay.
Supervisory officers were also instructed to regularly hold meetings with SHOs and investigating officers to monitor progress. Additionally, the DPO called for the resolution of all pending road certificates.
Tariq Aziz Sandhu stated that the performance of police stations and circle officers is being monitored daily. Commendable performance will be rewarded, while negligence will result in accountability.
