Weather is expected to remain hot and dry

Islamabad: Rain is forecast in various parts of the country today.
Rain with strong winds and thunderstorms is likely at a few places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan today.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is expected to remain hot and dry in most parts of the country.
On the other hand, Karachi will remain in the grip of a heat wave until April 23.
The highest temperature during the last 24 hours was recorded in Jacobabad at 43 degrees Celsius.
