‘Reduction in the intensity of the heatwave is expected from May 1’

Islamabad: The Meteorological Department has issued a heatwave alert for various parts of the country.
The Meteorological Department has predicted a heatwave from April 26 to 30 and issued an alert.
According to the department, from April 26 to May 1, there is a possibility of an increase in temperatures in Sindh, Southern Punjab, and Balochistan, with temperatures rising by up to 5 degrees.
On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has forecast that from April 27 to 30, the temperature in Upper Punjab and Islamabad may rise by 4 to 6 degrees. Similarly, from April 27 to 30, temperatures in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are expected to increase by 4 to 6 degrees.
The Meteorological Department further stated that a reduction in the intensity of the heatwave is expected from May 1.
Additionally, from April 30, rain is forecast in the upper regions of the country, with the possibility of hailstorm during this period.
