Both sides discuss current regional situation, with particular focus on Pakistan-India ceasefire

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met with British Foreign Secretary David Lammy, during which they reviewed recent developments in the region, including the Pakistan-India ceasefire.
According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, British Foreign Secretary David Lammy arrived at the Foreign Office in Islamabad, where he was received by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar.
In their meeting, both sides discussed the current regional situation, with particular focus on the Pakistan-India ceasefire. Ishaq Dar appreciated the constructive role played by the United Kingdom in reducing tensions between Pakistan and India.
The meeting also included a review of bilateral relations between Pakistan and the United Kingdom. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening ties and enhancing cooperation in trade and economic sectors. On this occasion, a delegation-level meeting between the two countries also took place.
