All types of Kuwaiti visas can now be obtained through an online platform

(Web Desk): Kuwait has taken a significant step by lifting the ban on issuing visas to Pakistani citizens after 19 years. Kuwait has now started issuing work, family, visit, tourist, and commercial visas to Pakistanis.
The focal person of the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis stated that this move will create employment, business, and tourism opportunities for thousands of people in Kuwait. All types of Kuwaiti visas can now be obtained through an online platform.
The official further mentioned that employment opportunities in Kuwait will help Pakistan earn valuable foreign exchange. Pakistani citizens no longer need to endure long waiting processes for visa applications, as the visas are now being issued online.
It is worth noting that the Kuwaiti Dinar is the world’s strongest currency, with one Kuwaiti Dinar valued at 914 Pakistani Rupees.
Two days ago, Gulf News reported that Pakistan’s Ambassador to Kuwait, Dr. Zafar Iqbal, confirmed that the Kuwaiti government has formally resumed the issuance of various types of visas to Pakistani citizens. This step is seen as an important move to strengthen bilateral relations and meet significant labor requirements.
Ambassador Dr. Zafar Iqbal also announced a plan to recruit 1,200 Pakistani nurses to address the growing demand in Kuwait's healthcare sector. The initial group of nurses (comprising 125 individuals) was scheduled to arrive last week but faced delays due to accommodation issues.
Dr. Iqbal added that special teams are actively working to resolve the issue, and it is hoped that the nurses will arrive in Kuwait within the next few days.
