Islamabad: Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has hinted at tax relief for the salaried class in the upcoming federal budget, set to be presented on June 10, stating that the government is actively working to reduce the financial burden on salaried individuals.
Speaking at an event in Islamabad on Monday, the minister acknowledged that salaried persons are taxed as soon as their income is credited and assured that the government is addressing this concern. He emphasized that the budget will offer a strategic direction, not just a financial statement, and will outline the path of Pakistan’s economy moving forward.
