Price of 24-karat gold per tola rises by Rs5,900, reaching Rs353,100


(Web Desk): Gold prices continued to surge in both international and local markets today.
According to reports, growing tensions between Russia and Ukraine have led to renewed demand for gold, pushing the price of gold in the international bullion market up by $59 per ounce, reaching $3,347.
As a result of the global rise, local gold markets in the country also witnessed a sharp increase in prices on Monday.
Following the increase, the price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs5,900, reaching Rs353,100.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs5,058, bringing it to Rs302,726.
In contrast, silver prices remained unchanged, with per tola silver steady at Rs3,356, and 10 grams of silver at Rs2,962.
