Earthquakes of minor intensity may occur for another week

Karachi: The Chief Meteorologist has said that the earthquake tremors in the city are coming from the Landhi Fault Line being activated, and this fault line is now going through the process of returning to normal.
Talking to the media in Karachi, Chief Meteorologist Amir Haider said that 18 earthquake tremors have been felt in Karachi since Sunday evening. These earthquake tremors are coming from the Landhi Fault Line being activated.
He stated that this fault line is now going through the process of returning to normal. Earthquakes of minor intensity may occur for another week. Energy is slowly coming out of the fault line, while the slow release of energy protects against the risk of major earthquake tremors.
According to the chief meteorologist, this fault line has become active after several decades. Earthquakes are being felt more due to their shallow depth. Buildings on the fault line should be able to withstand a magnitude 6 earthquake. Karachi's fault lines are historically marked. If houses are shaking, it is an infrastructure problem.
