Kharkiv: Russia launched a major drone attack on Ukraine’s second-largest city, Kharkiv, killing three people and injuring 21.
The mayor of Kharkiv said that Russia fired 9 missiles and 206 drones, killing three people and injuring several others.
He stated that this was the largest attack on Kharkiv so far during Russia’s aggression against Ukraine in February 2022, causing massive casualties and property damage.
According to official Ukrainian data, 174 attacks launched by Russia were destroyed by air defense systems.
On the other hand, the Russian Ministry of Defense said that 36 drones launched by Ukraine towards Kursk, Bryansk, Kaluga, Smolensk, and Moscow were shot down.
In addition to Kharkiv, a husband and wife were killed when a building collapsed as a result of Russian shelling in the Kherson region.
