Hafeez was arrested in August 2017 in London and extradited to the US three years ago

(Web Desk): A US court has sentenced Pakistani businessman Muhammad Asif Hafeez to 16 years in prison for drug trafficking.
According to foreign media, the US court convicted Hafeez on two charges. He was arrested in August 2017 in London and extradited to the United States three years ago.
The time Hafeez has already spent in custody will be counted towards his sentence, which is set to end in 2033.
The US court has also ordered the seizure of assets linked to Hafeez's drug trafficking activities.
