Deployment of 2,000 more National Guardsmen and 700 Marines was announced

Washington: President Donald Trump said on Monday that he would deploy additional National Guard troops to California if necessary, just hours after expressing support for the arrest of Governor Gavin Newsom.
The escalating conflict between Trump and the Democratic governor centers on immigration protests that shook Los Angeles over the weekend.
According to foreign media, large-scale protests are underway in Los Angeles against the US President's immigration policies, and now President Trump has announced the deployment of 2,000 more National Guardsmen and 700 Marines to control the situation.
On the other hand, California Governor Guillaume Newsom is unhappy with the deployment of the National Guard in the state and has announced that he will challenge President Trump's move in court.
It is pertinent to note that protests began in the city of Los Angeles due to raids against illegal immigrants, and there were serious clashes between the protesters and immigration officials and the police.
During this time, property was also damaged, after which it was decided to deploy the National Guard.
