Shahzeb said that if the plan was succeeded, it will be the largest attack on American soil since 9/11

Ottawa: Pakistani citizen Shahzeb Khan, accused of a terrorist plot, has been deported from Canada to the United States.
Muhammad Shahzeb Khan, 20, also known as Shahzeb Jadoon, will be presented in a US court today.
According to authorities, Shahzeb had plotted to attack a Jewish center in Brooklyn, New York, and an indictment has been filed against him in New York.
According to the US Department of Justice, two undercover law enforcement officers were among the people Shahzeb Khan contacted to participate in the plot.
It has been claimed that Shahzeb said at one point that if we succeed in this plan, it will be the largest attack on American soil since 9/11.
Shahzeb Khan was arrested in Canada in September 2024 after a complaint was filed in the Southern District of New York.
The operation was carried out when Shahzeb Khan was allegedly trying to enter the United States through the Canadian border.
FBI Director Kash Patel said that Shahzeb Khan wanted to enter the United States and attack the Jewish community. He was plotting to shoot people on a large scale, inspired by ISIS, and this operation was to be carried out on the first anniversary of the Gaza attacks, but the FBI and its partners were able to prevent the attack.
US Attorney General Pam Bundy said that ISIS poses a clear threat to American citizens, especially Jewish citizens who are particularly targeted by such groups.
The Justice Department is proud to have secured Shahzeb Khan’s extradition to the United States and will pursue the full extent of the law against the accused.
Shahzeb Khan faces life in prison if convicted.
