‘We have finalized our agreement with China, which will be formally approved by both myself and President Xi’

(Web Desk): US President Donald Trump has announced that a trade agreement has been reached between China and the United States.
In a statement posted on his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump shared some initial details of the deal.
Trump stated, “We have finalized our agreement with China, which will be formally approved by both myself and President Xi.”
He added that China will immediately supply all the minerals required by the United States, and in return, the US will provide China with all agreed-upon items, including the education of Chinese students in American colleges and universities.
According to Trump, the agreement grants the US a 55% tariff advantage, while China will receive a 10% tariff rate.
In another post, President Trump said that he and President Xi will work together to increase US exports to China, calling it a “major success for both nations.”
However, international news agencies reported that further details of the agreement have not yet been made public, and China’s Ministry of Commerce has so far declined to comment or release any additional information.
It is worth noting that last month, China and the US also reached a trade agreement in Geneva, but Trump later accused China of violating that agreement.
