Iran has activated its nationwide air defense systems and reportedly shot down an Israeli drone near a nuclear facility

Tehran: Iran has launched a retaliatory strike on central Israel, according to international news agencies.
Reports say the Israeli military spokesperson's press briefing was abruptly cut short due to the Iranian attack. In response, Iran has activated its nationwide air defense systems and reportedly shot down an Israeli drone near a nuclear facility.
Foreign media confirm that Iran’s air defense systems are active in the capital, Tehran, where loud explosions were heard in the city center. The blasts are believed to be the result of the defense system intercepting incoming threats. Explosions were also reported from areas inside and around the city.
An Israeli drone was shot down near the Fordow nuclear facility. Meanwhile, recent Israeli strikes have targeted the Hamadan airbase and the city of Fardis. Iran’s airspace has already been closed to commercial flights amid escalating tensions.
Israel has formally initiated a war against Iran, launching airstrikes on nuclear facilities and military bases.
