Karachi has recorded 43 tremors since June 1

(Web Desk): Earthquake tremors were once again felt in Malir and nearby areas of Karachi.
The Seismological Center reported that the earthquake had a magnitude of 3.8, with a depth of 10 kilometers, and the epicenter was located 5 kilometers north of Malir.
It is worth noting that since June 1, the total number of tremors recorded in Karachi has now reached 43.
Ameer Haider, head of the Tsunami Warning Cell Karachi, had earlier acknowledged that tremors have occurred every year in Malir and adjoining areas, except in 2011 and 2012. In 2009, nearly 15 tremors were recorded over a period of three months.
He also stated that the frequency of recent tremors is gradually decreasing, and in the past, due to a lack of proper equipment, many quakes were not recorded in time. The strongest earthquake ever recorded in Karachi occurred on September 14, 2003, with a magnitude of 4.6.
