WHO should cooperate in case management, diagnostic facilities, and indoor spraying


Karachi: The Sindh Health Department has written a letter to the World Health Organization (WHO) representative in Pakistan.
The health department’s letter has requested cooperation from the World Health Organization (WHO) to control mosquito-borne diseases in Sindh.
The letter states that there is a risk of mosquito-borne diseases increasing due to rain and climate change. The WHO should cooperate in case management, diagnostic facilities, and indoor spraying.
The letter further states that technical assistance from the WHO is also requested for the training of medical staff. We are grateful for the continued cooperation of the World Health Organization. With further support, patients will benefit and the situation will improve.
