Affected child is 19 months old

Islamabad: Another case of polio has been reported in Pakistan, taking the number of children infected with polio this year to 14.
According to the National Emergency Operation Center (NEOC), the 14th polio case of this year has been reported from North Waziristan.
NEOC says that according to the Polio Reference Laboratory, the affected child is 19 months old.
According to NEOC, this year, 8 cases have been reported from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 4 from Sindh, and one each from Punjab and Gilgit-Baltistan.
The National EOC has announced that a special vaccination campaign will be launched soon in 11 union councils of North Waziristan. Parents must give polio drops to their children in every campaign.
