94 cases of extortion and 41 cases of target killing were reported in the province


Peshawar: A police report on terrorism, kidnapping, suicide attacks, and bomb blasts during the past six months in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has come to light.
The KP Police report states that 756 cases of terrorism were registered in different police stations across the province from January 1, 2025, to July 1, 2025.
This year, 94 cases of extortion and 41 cases of target killing were reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and 38 cases of kidnapping were registered in different police stations.
So far this year, 80 IED bomb blasts and 5 suicide attacks have taken place in different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. 12 missile attacks, 35 grenade attacks were also reported across the province, and 269 cases of firing on police and other officials were reported.
According to the report, 44 cases were registered for cooperation with terrorists, while 13 cases were registered for financial support to terrorists.
