Three suspects of robbery at Chinese residents’ house arrested, Rs12.5mn recovered
Suspects looted cash 3 days ago and fled to their hometown of Chishtian


Lahore: The Operations Wing of Lahore Police has arrested the suspects who robbed a Chinese resident’s house in the Defense Housing Authority (DHA) area of Lahore.
Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Defense Shehrbano Naqvi told a press conference along with Chinese citizens that three suspects were arrested for robbing Rs18 million from the house of a Chinese resident, from whose possession Rs1.25 million were recovered.
According to the ASP, the arrested suspects worked at the house of a Chinese citizen, Shi Depo. The suspects looted the cash 3 days ago and fled to their hometown of Chishtian. The two suspects, security guards Shabbir and Imtiaz, along with a third person, Ali Uzair, carried out the crime.
The ASP said that Rs12 million has been recovered from the suspects, and efforts are underway to recover the remaining amount.
