Monitoring of lane violations, grafting, overloading, one-wheeling, and many other violations is ongoing


Islamabad: Traffic police are conducting operations using drone technology in the federal capital, Islamabad. Fines have been imposed for violating traffic rules on the main highways of Islamabad.
According to the details, the Islamabad Police spokesperson has said that the Islamabad Traffic Police is ensuring the implementation of traffic rules with the help of drone cameras. Initially, drone technology will be used on the Expressway and Srinagar Highway.
According to the Islamabad Traffic Police spokesperson, monitoring of lane violations, grafting, overloading, one-wheeling, and many other violations is ongoing. Legal action has been taken against more than 300 drivers for various violations after identifying them using drone technology.
According to the Traffic Police spokesperson, more than 350 citizens were informed, while several vehicles were stopped at the police station for violations.
The spokesperson says that with the help of drone cameras, violations are being identified and immediately fined. In the next phase, the same technology will be used on all sectors and other highways.
