Earthquake struck at depth of 65 kilometers

Jakarta: A magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck Indonesia's Tanimbar Islands on Monday morning, the GFZ German Research Center for Geosciences said.
The quake struck at 5:49am, with its epicenter located 10 kilometers below the surface, Xinhua news agency reported.
The USGS said the earthquake struck at a depth of 65 kilometers, with its epicenter at sea, but no tsunami warning has been issued.
Authorities have not yet reported any major damage or casualties, and the investigation is ongoing.
