The visit of the Saudi Naval Chief will contribute to further enhancing the ties between the armed forces of both countries

(Web Desk): Commander of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces, Vice Admiral Abdulrahman Al-Ghuraibi, met with Chief of the Naval Staff of Pakistan, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, at the Naval Headquarters in Islamabad. During the meeting, the two discussed matters of mutual interest, regional security, and bilateral naval cooperation.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Saudi Naval Chief was presented with a guard of honour by a well-turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Navy upon his arrival at Naval Headquarters.
In their meeting, Admiral Naveed Ashraf and Vice Admiral Al-Ghuraibi exchanged views on enhancing bilateral ties and discussed the prevailing maritime security situation in the region. The Chief of Naval Staff highlighted the Pakistan Navy’s efforts to promote peace and stability in the region through Regional Maritime Security Patrols (RMSP).
Vice Admiral Al-Ghuraibi appreciated the Pakistan Navy’s contributions to maritime security and lauded the quality training being provided to Saudi cadets at the Pakistan Naval Academy. He also reaffirmed the commitment to further strengthen the scope of Pakistan-Saudi defense relations.
ISPR stated that the visit of the Saudi Naval Chief will contribute to further enhancing the ties between the armed forces of both countries.
