Addresses trainee police officers at National Police Academy in Islamabad


Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has emphasized the need for the highest level of training for police officers to enable them to efficiently discharge their duties.
Addressing trainee police officers at National Police Academy in Islamabad on Tuesday, he stated that the core focus of their training syllabus should be the protection of citizens' lives and property and provision of justice to the common man.
Regarding the up gradation of National Police Academy, the Prime Minister said it will span over twenty-five acres of land and include an elite training school and a firing range.
In his remarks on the occasion, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said advanced courses including relating to cyber security will be conducted at the National Police Academy.
