All three tourists were from Karachi and have been identified as Asad, Ahmed, and Aqsaa

Gilgit-Baltistan: A tragic incident occurred during rafting at the tourist spot Zhaoq Kachura, where a boat capsized, causing three tourists to fall into the river.
According to police, all three tourists were from Karachi and have been identified as Asad, Ahmed, and Aqsaa.
Immediately after the incident, rescue operations were launched, and Asad was safely recovered by the rescue team. However, Ahmed and female tourist Aqsaa remain missing.
Police officials stated that a search operation is underway across various sections of the river to locate the two missing individuals.
Authorities further revealed that due to recent flash floods, the government had imposed a ban on rafting and swimming, but rafting activities had continued in violation of the ban, which led to this accident.
Following the incident, the administration has issued fresh advisories urging tourists to strictly follow government directives to prevent such accidents in the future.
