Campaign in other parts of country will start as per schedule from Sept 1


Lahore: The anti-polio campaign has been delayed in nine districts of Punjab due to the flood situation.
According to the National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC), the anti-polio campaign has been postponed in Lahore, Sheikhupura, Kasur, Okara, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Multan, Muzaffargarh, and Bahawalpur.
The NEOC says that the anti-polio campaign in Rawalpindi, Attock, Mianwali, Faisalabad, DG Khan, Rajanpur, and Rahim Yar Khan will be as per schedule.
According to the NEOC, the anti-polio campaign in other parts of the country will start as per schedule from September 1.
The NEOC says that whenever the anti-polio team comes during the campaign, they should fully cooperate with them, and parents must vaccinate their children under the age of 5 against polio.
