Govt did not stop anyone from providing food to flood victims: Azma Bokhari
She said that this issue should not be used for political point scoring

Lahore: Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari has said that the Punjab government has not stopped any private organization or individual from providing food to flood victims.
She stated that the government asked the district administration and the Food Authority to check the quality of the food before distributing it. In some places, some people complained about substandard food being distributed.
Azma added that these instructions were released keeping in mind the health of the flood victims. There is a risk of diseases spreading in the affected areas. This step has been taken to protect the health of the people.
She said that this issue should not be used for political point scoring; some people are spreading false propaganda to stop food distribution.
She says that Maryam Nawaz is going everywhere herself so that the administration knows that they are being monitored. The people of Punjab also know that the rulers of the time came to them to listen to them.
The provincial information minister also added that the people know that their Chief Minister stands with them in every situation and everywhere.
