Lahore: The birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is being celebrated with religious fervor and enthusiasm across the country today.
In connection with Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), cities, streets, mosques, tall buildings, markets, and intersections are decorated with green flags.
Processions are being organized across the country and love for the Lord of the Worlds is being expressed in gatherings of blessings and greetings.
The day of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) began with a 31-gun salute in the federal capital and 21-gun salute in the provincial capitals.
After the Fajr prayer, special prayers were offered in mosques and homes for the country's progress, security, prosperity, and unity of the Muslim Ummah.
Milad-e-Nabi (PBUH) gathering was organized at the Governor House in Karachi. On this occasion, Governor Sindh Kamran Tesori said that the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a blessing for all humanity. His Seerat-e-Tayyaba contains perfect guidance for every aspect of life.
The Governor of Sindh said that we are unfortunate that we are not following the Sunnah and Seerat of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). He said that he was fortunate to assume the office of Governor on 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal.
Meanwhile, Lahore also sparkled with colors and lights today. The markets are full of electric lights and the minarets of mosques are illuminated with lamps.
The people of Lahore city are welcoming Eid Milad-e-Nabi (PBUH) by decorating the streets, neighborhoods and markets with colors of happiness.
In Islamabad and Rawalpindi, love for the Lord of the Two Worlds is also being expressed.
The celebration of Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) is being celebrated with religious devotion and respect in Quetta, where mosques and buildings in the city were decorated with electric lights.
It has been decided to deploy more than 4,000 police and FC personnel for security in Quetta on the occasion of the day, while mobile phone data service is suspended in Quetta today.
